Social Tournament and Fund Raising

On Saturday 6th June we will be holding a fun social tournament. Register at 1.15pm  for a 1.30pm  start.  All levels are welcome and the event is free of charge.

At the same time we will be holding a coffee and cake event. Players, friends and guests can purchase a hot or cold drink and a home made piece of cake, scone or tray bake. The sweet treats will also be available to buy to take away so why not invite friends and family to come down and watch the tournament and indulge in a lovely drink and a home-made treat. There will also be a tombola, where you can chance your luck, buy a ticket and find out immediately if you have won a prize. All funds go towards club development. We are also looking for donations for the tombola. Please drop them off at the clubhouse: for example toiletries, chocolates, wine, books, and leave on the kitchen bench.

Summer Tournament

The closing date for the summer tournament has now passed and the Tencom are busy preparing the draw which should be available early next week. If you haven’t already paid your £5 entry fee for the tournament, please do so asap. Thank you.

Calling all men who like to play tennis in the mornings!

We have received a couple of requests to set up a WhatsApp group for any men who wish to play tennis in the morning during the week. The WhatsApp group will allow you to ask fellow members if they fancy a game, make up a 4 etc. If you would like to be added to this WhatsApp group please reply to this e mail with your name and your mobile number so we can set up the group.

Courts 1-3

Please will you continue to prioritise courts 1 – 3, especially court 1, for your personal bookings to help with the bedding in process.

Easy Fundraising

Easy Fundraising has paid us £63.11 for the last quarter! There is at least another £120 pending for the next quarter, and all this money is raised for free by our members and friends who shop online. We’ve already raised £1926 with easyfundraising but we really want to raise more. Could you spare a few minutes to register to support us through your everyday online shopping here?
