Membership fees
These are coming in very nicely. Sixty-four of you have already registered and paid, thank you. You have until the end of February to pay, or set up your direct debit payments which must be in the bank by the end of March. Just as a heads-up, at the end of January, the ClubSpark email system will stop sending out emails to anyone who has not registered to renew. If you don’t want to miss out on the news, please register your intent to join even if you aren’t paying until later, and that will ensure you keep up to date with what’s going on at the club. Thank you.

Fundraising events
The fundraising committee have had their first meeting to plan out the year’s events. These include quizzes, a buskers night, a race night, the ever popular ladies afternoon tea, the awards night and hopefully a new event, a ceilidh! This was a member’s suggestion so we are going to try it out. More details to follow. We are always open to ideas so please contact us if you have maybe been to a fundraising event elsewhere that you enjoyed. There are a few other ideas bubbling under too, so keep an eye on your newsletters to find out more later. The latest events and club calendar can be found here.

The first event of the year is our BIG FAT QUIZ OF 2025! This will be held on Saturday 7th February at 7pm. Test your knowledge of all things 2025 and enjoy a warming bowl of home-made soup and a piece of stottie for £8 per ticket. Bring your own drink as usual. Friends and family very welcome. Just let us know how many tickets you require at boldon.ltc@outlook.com and pay your money into the usual bank account with the reference “quiz”. Hope to see you there!
