BFTC COMMUNITY

The club is proud to be part of the local community and actively looks for ways to be active in the area.

Currently we are partnering a local school, Bovingdon Academy, in providing Tennis Coaching twice weekly after school. This is in conjunction with Everyball who are our Coaching partners.

HACRO

We are currently running a session with HACRO at the Club once a week on a Monday morning. We do this in conjunction with Phil Hill one of our coaches. For those who haven't come across HACRO  (Hertfordshire Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of Offenders) it is a charity that helps people who have been on the wrong side of the law to turn their lives around. This initiative has successfully completed its initial trial period and will run again in 2023. 
 

DENS

Most people know DENS as the homeless charity for people in Dacorum. In fact, DENS do so much more than just provide a roof and a bed. Their aim is to be the first port of call for people in Dacorum who are facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion; to support and empower them to take the next positive step in their lives.

Dens ensure individuals have access to temporary and short-term accommodation, and individuals and families have access to emergency food and provisions. They  accommodation options to support people to move on and sustain their own tenancy and provide advice and training; empowering people to develop their skills and build confidence.
