General Information for Club Members

The Club has 3 hard courts and 2 carpet courts; all of the courts have floodlights. The club runs social events such as Quiz nights and social tennis events, such as American tournaments.  There is a licensed bar and table tennis, table football are also available in the clubhouse.  The Club runs Mens, Ladies and Junior teams in the summer and winter leagues, in addition to internal club competitions for juniors and adults.  The club also has a rebound net and a ball machine.

*COACHING*  Manni Naumann, the club’s Head Coach, runs a full coaching programme for adults and juniors, including tennis camps during the school holidays.  If you wish to find out about coaching sessions, please contact Manni on 07741 287876. 

*SAFEGUARDING*  Our Safeguarding Officer is Aaron Braddy-Green; 07824 395289.

*CLUB TIMES*  Wednesday morning; Tuesday evening and Sunday morning club times for adults; Tuesday evening for older juniors.

*COURTS/TENNIS BALLS*  The Club provides balls (and rackets if required) for all coaching sessions, league matches and organised events;  for any other playing times,  you will need to bring your own tennis balls and racket.  Courts are booked via the booking system on the website.

*REBOUND NET & BALL MACHINE:  The Club has a rebound net and ball machine for use by members.

*FLOODLIGHTS*   Floodlights charges: currently £1 for every 15 minutes.  

*MEMBERSHIP*  Details of the membership packages are on our website.  The club’s year runs from 1st April to end  March following year.

*VISITORS*  Members of the club are entitled to play tennis with a visitor for which a small fee is payable:  £5 per adult per visit;  £2 per junior per visit.  Each visitor is allowed to play up to three times in one season.  There is a visitors fee box in the clubhouse; or fees can be given to a member of the committee or paid online into the club account.

Also, all adult members and junior members must have and LTA  Advantage Number (formerly BTM No.) if they wish to record and improve their Player’s rating if they take part in any competition; or play in a club team.
