"A lovely local friendly club. What it lacks in size it makes up for in friendliness. Two courts with good lighting & a small clubhouse with kettle, balls to use etc. What I especially like about the club is the coaching. I belong to a club in London & Hertfordshire as well as Brooke. I’ve tried a lot of coaches & have settled on Martin as my go-to coach who I book for lessons on a regular basis. He has a great teaching style & gives tips & methods that have an immediate impact on the quality of my matchplay. The group coaching on Sat mornings are also great fun, sociable & useful in practicing drills & conditioned games. Some coaches I feel go through the motions in a one-to-one coaching session. Martin is fully engaged during his sessions & really observes your playing style before honing in on where to improve. He is also the only coach I have had who emails through a post-lesson recap to build on the learning during the lesson". Laurence Higham
