Padel Coaching

Wayne Scott is Head Coach for Tennis & Padel at the Club and working on the delivery of a Padel Coaching Programme for those that seek game improvement.

Current courses:

Padel Beginners Course (4 Weeks)

Venue: Broughton Padel

Saturdays 26th April to 17th May FULLY BOOKED

Saturdays 24th May to 14th June FULLY BOOKED

 

Padel Improvers Course (4 Weeks)

Venue: Broughton Padel

Course run by: Wayne Scott Tennis & Padel

Course Coach: Wayne Scott

Suitability: Improvers who have grasped the basics of Padel session and looking to consolidate and enhance their skills to further improve their playing level.

All Attendees to Self-Assess against the Player Categories published.

Format: 1 hours coaching each week followed by 30 minutes free play to put coaching into practice. Each successive week will build on the previous week(s)

Course Size: 8 players across 2 courts

Dates: Tuesday 29th April, Tuesday 6th May, Tuesday 13th May and Tuesday 20th May

Time: 13.00 – 14.30

Cost of Course: £ 50.00

Equipment: Padel rackets (where needed) and balls provided

Payment for this course is required in advance by BACS transfer. Bank details will be supplied when booking made.

This Coaching Programme will be based on the Broughton Padel Player Categories, announced on 1st November 2024 as below to provide targeted coaching to self-assessed levels of Padel capability.

 

Future Courses

Wayne Scott Tennis & Padel are finalising details and dates for further 4 week Coaching courses to be run in  2025 and these will be posted here as soon as possible.

These Coaching courses will also be based on the Broughton Padel Player Categories, announced on 1st November, as below, to provide targeted coaching to self-assessed levels of Padel capability.

Sessions will provide progressive coaching, with each week building on the last for an hour each week. Court time will be available after the coaching element for social play and the opportunity to put those new skills into practice  with other members of the Group.
