After a year in the planning, Bucklebury Tennis Club completed the erection of their new Clubhouse in October 2019. An official opening ceremony was held with Mike James, the current Chairman, conducting a small ceremony with many current and past members there in support along with representation from Berkshire LTA and Newbury and District LTA.  To get the project completed, the Club had the support of the Parish Council to help them gain planning approval. The timing of the Clubhouse opening coincides with the election of new Chairperson. Robin London. With the new Clubhouse complementing the new floodlights, installed a few years ago, membership continues to grow year by year and as well as running a wide range of ladies, mens and mixed teams throughout the year, the Club also has regular drills sessions and several Junior Coaching groups including a group from the local Primary school, all under the tuition of a our LTA Accreditated professional tennis coach. All in all, we are proud to have a thriving Club which is a great asset to the local community and is always happy to welcome new members.
