Buriton Tennis Club

Buriton Tennis Club was officially formed in the late 1970's, although there was a grass court on the Recreation Ground before World War II.  The club was originally founded by Peggy Larken, Don Hoolahan, Tom Hall, and Leonard Sandford, who aimed to provide more sports opportunities for local youngsters and establish a friendly, informal club.  The Club maintains these traditions today, offering regular sessions, tournaments, social events and representing the club in leagues and friendly matches.
