Latest Tennis Scotland guidance Nov 2020

Since the end of May, tennis activity has been taking place in Scotland on a restricted basis, with guidelines in place.  Busby Tennis Club has carefully followed these guidelines for the safety of its membership and to ensure that we could comply with any requests from Test and Protect.

Tennis Scotland issued its latest guidance as of 3 November detailing what tennis activity can take place under each level of protection in Scotland.  You can find the guidance for outdoor tennis activity here.  As some of our members live outside East Renfrewshire (currently at protection level 3), the following information from the Scottish Government on travelling may also be of help. One of the limited exceptions from the guidance not to travel into or out of Level 3 and 4 local authority areas is to allow travel locally (within around 5 miles of your local authority area) to reach a place to take exercise outdoors.  There is also guidance on car sharing which says that you should avoid sharing a vehicle with people who are not members of your household or extended household as much as possible.  More details can be found here.
