Many of you will know Kathleen Watson but did you know that she celebrated a big milestone in late October? Just after an unbeaten run in the Women's 3rd team matches, Kathleen turned 80.  Her efforts to keep this low key with her tennis friends failed as they all contributed to a card and presents to mark the occasion.  Kathleen has asked that we pass on her thanks to everyone for the cards and gifts and particularly mentioned the planter she received containing plants in the Wimbledon colours.  She said " it is at present adorning the porch at the front door and will cheer up this winters gloom."
