I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Greg Whitecross, and I’ve recently relocated to the area after 14 years as Head Coach at Blackheath LTC. Moving forward, I’ll be taking on a part-time coaching role at Heaton Mersey TC on Fridays.

With nearly 40 years of coaching experience across both Australia and the UK, I have had the pleasure of working with players of all ages and abilities. Some of you may know my wife Celia, who was a member here, or my brother-in-law, John Ratcliffe, who is also a current member.

In my playing career, I achieved an ATP singles ranking of 144 and doubles ranking of 131. I also had the honor of winning the Australian Open Junior Singles and Doubles titles in 1979.

On Fridays, I’ll be supporting Charlie with junior group sessions in the afternoons, and I’m available for individual lessons at 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30 pm.
