Club Championships 2023

2023 Club Championships Finals Day - Sunday 1st October

We were blessed with a warm dry, cloudy day to play our finals. The day kicked off with the Mixed Doubles Final on court 1, the Consolation Draw Mens Singles Final on court 2 and the Consolation Draw Ladies Singles Final on court 4. Next up were the Ladies Singles Final on court 1 and the Mens Doubles Final on court 2, and to finish the Mens Singles Final on court 1 and Veterans Mixed Doubles Final on court 2. Ladies Doubles was a round robin and decided prior to finals day as was the Veterans Ladies Doubles. We were very pleased that family, friends and some club members not taking part in the finals came to support the finalists. Delicious food was enjoyed during the day courtesy of the club and the members who generously brought food to share. Well done to all those who played in the tournament and congratulations to the winners. Trophies were presented to the winners by Club Chairman Claire Bielby. Thank you to Club secretary Derek Warnett for organising the event.
