Cambourne Lawn Tennis Club: Summer season results and Clubhouse news

In line with the fantastic weather we are currently having, it is with great pride and enthusiasm that we can report fantastic results from our juniors this summer so far.

Neil – finished 2nd in the 8U Cambridge LTC Summer Open 

Alexander – finished 2nd in the 14U Gosling TC event 

Anna – finished 1st in the 12U Riverside Open 

Daniel – finished 1st in the 9U Riverside Open 

Diya - Reached 2 semi finals! 

On top of this, our teams competed in the Summer National League Division 2 with the following results;

8Us - 2nd 

9Us - 1st

14Us - 1st

16Us - 2nd 

In other (fantastic) news: With a pandemic, recension and fuel crisis as the backdrop, it is a testament to the hard work of our chairperson and former chairperson that we can confirm that the building of the CLTC clubhouse has been approved and work is scheduled to start in December.

With this in mind, we are hoping that a local business or individual will take the oppounity to sponsor the clubhouse or indeed one of our 5 a court.
