Castle Hill held the mixed doubles tournament on the hottest day of the year on Sunday.
Those who braved the heat played a round robin type tournament on the grass court that wasn't devastated by chafer grubs last season.
The tournament was eventually won by David Hancock and Kath Millard who beat Mick Lench and Sue Butler in a well fought one set final 6-4.
