Caterham & Whyteleafe Tennis Club

We are a small, enthusiastic and welcoming TENNIS & PICKLEBALL club situated in a picturesque woodland setting on the Caterham/Whyteleafe border in Surrey. We provide a friendly, inclusive and relaxed environment for players of all ages and abilities. Take a look at the photos of our courts in bright Wimbledon colours!

Our friendly club is affiliated to the LTA and is run by a committee of dedicated volunteers who are involved heavily with tennis and pickleball and the local community. We have three outdoor tennis courts, four pickleball courts - all under floodlights - and a small clubhouse with a lovely gazebo. 

Through the year we run multiple social sessions, we host internal tournaments, league matches and fun off-court events. We offer great benefits for our members but non-membership participation is also an option.
Finally, our coaching team from Cooper Tennis in the Community are ready to get your tennis and pickleball skills to the next level.

Full adult membership is £125 for the whole 2026/27 season including both tennis and pickleball.

• Fun Social Sizzling Saturday 2.30-4.30pm. Tea & cake!
• Sunday Beginners & Rusties session at 9.30-10.30am - led by Chris
• Super Sunday mixed level social at 10.30am
• Annual internal Club Championship and Player of the Year
• League tennis and weekly team practice for the competitive!

Coaching (payable) through the week by Cooper Tennis in the Community, including:

• Cardio Tennis - Get fit, have fun & learn some tennis skills! Wednesdays 9-10.30am.
• Adult group coaching Wednesdays 10.30-12, Fridays 9.30-11am & Saturdays 12-1pm (seasonal) - ideal for beginners and intermediaries
• Book your own coach at a time to suit you
• Junior coaching - flexible programme after school and on Saturday mornings
• Junior tournaments
• Junior holiday camps - offers available!

For non-membership TENNIS Pay&Play please head to our Court Booking page to book and pay online. You can book up to 3 days in advance. Please note that non-members cannot use the floodlights until further notice.
