This weekend the Channel Island’s Men’s Over 35 tennis team headed to Eastbourne to compete in the Annual LTA County Cup Event.

Guernsey’s Rob West and Patrick Ogier joined forces with Rob Hannah and Adam Bayley from Jersey to form the Channel Islands team and travelled to the UK with team manager Lee Ingram.

Despite some lengthy delays due to weather, and shortened matches, the team put in strong performances to beat Northumberland 4-1, Wiltshire 3-2 and Cumbria 3-0 to top their group and earn promotion to Div 5 for next year.
