Jersey

Jersey is the largest of the seven channel islands with a population of just over 100,000.   The easternmost of all the islands, Jersey is 46 sq miles and surrounded by beautiful white sand beaches.

Jersey has a strong tennis heritage and the sport continues to thrive on the island.   Scott Clayton (who now runs Island Padel on Jersey) reached a career high of number 107 in doubles in 2018.  He won 4 ATP Challenger Tour events and competed in doubles at The Championships at Wimbledon.  Stuart Parker is active on the tennis circuit and is currently ranked 351 in the world, his highest ever.  Stuart trains in Aix-en-Provence with former World Number 4, Thomas Enqvist.   Stuart has recevied wildcards into the qualifying draw at Wimbledon on two occasions. Up and coming Jersey youngsters Natasha Forrest and Emily Frost are currently competing in the US College leages, and Louis Keenan and Nina Grossi are competing in France.

Island Padel, the home of Jersey Padel, is one of Europe's premier Padel facilities, with three indoor and two outdoor floodlit courts. Run by Scott Clayton, it is a thriving facility for all players. The venue hosts Grade 1 Padel tournaments and is home to some elite national level players, as well as encouraging grass roots participation by running possibly the largest community programme in the UK.
