Club Tournaments
We have many opportunities for adults and juniors to take part in fun and competitive tennis activities. For all events, you can enter as an individual; where necessary, all efforts will be made by the tournament organiser to ensure a partner is found for you.
Day tournaments
We run several mixed doubles tournaments each year. These include American/Australian events when entrants rotate partners over a series of mini-sets and accumulate personal scores of points (in the case of American tournaments ) or games (for Australian touraments). Prizes are awarded to women's and men's winners and runners-up. Generally there is a £5 entrance fee, balls are provided.
In addition, there is the Michelle Cooper Cup which is a mixed doubes tournament. Teams are formed at the start of the day and stay together, participating initially in round-robin groups, the best performers from which progress to the semi- finals.

Singles ladder
The object of the ladder is to allow Club Members to play competitive singles matches. There is only one ladder being run in 2025, which is for both men and women and all abilities. A handicap system is applie to make as many competitive matches as possible. The onus is on members of the ladder to commit to arranging matches regularly. As a general idea, players should try to issue a challenge at least once a month. If you wish to join, please sign up to the Ladder WhatsApp Group and everything else will follow.
The rules of the competition are here.
