Coaching Offer - Serving Up 10 Sessions for Your Smashing Return to Tennis
We welcome children onto our coaching programme from age 3 upwards (we sometimes accept 2 year olds if they are particularly keen). We have special pre-school tots classes for the 3-4 age group which concentrate on developing essential tennis skills whilst having lots of fun with different equipment on court. We recognise that the most important thing is that children are keen to come to their tennis classes and so we take time to ensure where possible that they are playing with their friends. If your child has a particular group of school friends they would like to learn tennis with, please contact us and we will see if we can create a class for them.
Mini-blue tennis classes are for ages 4-6 (smaller net and softer, slower balls).
Mini-red tennis classes are for ages 5-8 (smaller net and softer, slower balls)
Mini-orange tennis classes are for 9 year olds (3/4 sized court and slightly faster balls)
Mini-green tennis are for 10 year olds (full sized court, slightly faster balls)
Yellow ball (the usual tennis ball) for ages 11 and upwards.
- Occasionally, those players who compete regularly might be playing in the age group above.
- We encourage all of the children on our programme to apply for free British Tennis Membership linked to one of our venues. This provides lots of benefits and advice on how to enjoy tennis for individuals and families.
- We are always happy to discuss your individual coaching requirements over the phone or by e-mail, or please make an appointment to speak to us in person: contact us. Please take a moment to read our Codes of Conduct for Junior Players and their Parents within our Safeguarding Policy Document.
