Booking rules
TERMS OF USE & BOOKING FOR 2 GRASS COURTS AT COTTENHAM RECREATION GROUND

TERMS OF USE:
- This facility is for tennis only.
- There is no need to be a member of any tennis club to play at the grass courts.
- Access to the courts is FREE at any time from May through August, Monday-Friday 11am-9pm, Saturday-Sunday 8am-9pm.
- This facility is owned and managed by Cottenham Parish Council.
- Anyone using this facility does so at their own risk.
- Please always lock the courts and scramble the code when you leave.
- Please leave the nets at the correct height when you leave: 3ft or 91cm.
- Please do not tamper with the sprinkler system in any way.
- The access code will change periodically and must not be shared with anyone else.
- No animals, picnics, studded footwear, football, cycling or any other sports are permitted.
- Please do not play in adverse weather or after rain, as it damages the courts and may be unsafe to play on.
BOOKINGS:
- Bookings are now needed to access the courts.
- You will need a free LTA account and Clubspark account in order to make a booking. This does not mean you become a member of the Tennis Club, it just allows you access to the booking system.
- To book a court please go to the Booking page on www.cottenhamtennis.co.uk
- You will be given the access code on your booking.
- This access code is only for the person making the booking and must not to be shared with anyone, even those in your group.
- Please ensure you enter an email address when registering and booking so that you receive your booking confirmation email. Please note, the padlock code will be shown at the bottom of the screen when you make your booking so please make a note of it. If you do not enter your contact details we will not be able to contact you for cancellations or changes to the code.
- Please have your email booking with you at the court to avoid any booking clashes.
- Please book every time you play so that we get an accurate picture of how the courts are being used.
- Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance.
- No more than 5 bookings can be made in that 7-day period.
- Bookings can be made for periods of between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours.
- Please ensure you cancel any bookings that you do not need.
- The Parish Council and administrators reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time e.g. for maintenance.
- Please be aware that the grass courts are not covered by Cottenham Tennis Club's LTA Venue Registration Insurance and Cottenham Tennis Club take no responsibility for any accident, injury, death, loss, damage or other consequences.
- All enquiries about bookings should be addressed to the Parish Council, not Cottenham Tennis Club, on clerk@cottenhampc.org.uk or 07503 328401.
Please note Cottenham Tennis Club and their associated coaches may be operating on a small scale at the grass courts, and these bookings will be shown on the booking sheet and cannot be booked by the public.
