• Pat will be running a friendly internal competition followed by the BBQ.
• The competition will be an organised Doubles event where players will be assigned a partner on the day.

BBQ Report:

First and foremost, thank you Pat for organising the event, it takes a lot of hard work and was very much appreciated by all who attended.

Everyone had a good time, we enjoyed blazing sunshine, well and truly barbied sausages and burgers, the post BBQ strawbwerries were nice and sweet, drinks were refreshing and the atmosphere chilled and relaxed to the sound of Pat's favourite 80's and 90's music hits in the background.

The fun doubles tournament was a rounding success based on 10 point tie-break format, played in the true competetive spirit of Cwmbran tennis, with no reports of dodgy line calling or on court tantrums, all racquets remained in tact though a few may have since been desytroyed. At the end, a highly unusual dead heat situation was encountered and a 7 point tie break play off commenced with eventual winners being Georgia Stocks and Ian Harris who were presented with the winners trophy, an inflatable silver cup. Great fun, see you all at the next event.
