Event report:

In true Wimbledon fashion competitors endured a full range of weather conditions during the event, from full sun followed by drizzly rain then a tropical down pour interspersed with rumbles of thunder then back to dry and cloudy.

Spirits were high as the anticipation of competition drew nearer and Pat organised partners based on ability, age and dress code.

Matches were played to a 10 point tie break and sudden death format in a fun but competetive atmosphere.

There were no reports of on-court tantrums or dodgy line calls and all racquets remained in tact however one player did take a few accidental body shots with no repurcussions, it's safe to say the event was played in the true spirit of tennis.
