Team Tennis
We have 5 Men's teams and 4 Women's teams in the North East Cheshire League. This is the league in which we play all of our competitive summer tennis matches. Each team consists of 6 players.
Team Matches are played on most Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from April until the end of July. Your support is always welcome and there will usually be one court available for general play.
From October onwards opportunities to play competitive team tennis continues through to the end of March. We have 4 teams in the East Cheshire Winter League (2 men and 2 women per team).
A team is entered into the Acton Cup, which is a knock-out competition amongst the NECTL clubs and the tournament runs throughout the season. The format of this includes, for each round of the competition, five matches: a men’s doubles, a women’s doubles, a men’s singles, a women's singles and a mixed doubles match.
