  • Saturday 13th April Opening Tournament  – annual tournament signalling the start of the new “tennis year” at DLTC and hopefully warmer days to come. A social tournament with a competitive edge and prizes for winners/runners up. 2pm start

 

  • 11-23rd March Handicap Doubles & Open Singles – the first of our annual senior club tournaments, played over 2 weeks. Players sign up in advance followed by a tournament draw. Matches played through a series of Rounds through to semi-finals and Finals Day 1st April

(Handicap Doubles is a fantastic way to play competitive Men’s, Women’s & Mixed doubles. Enter as an individual, and you will be “drawn” a partner. Each doubles pair is then handicapped to create as much of a level playing field as possible for all pairs. 

Open Singles - Wimbledon style format, need we say more? Men’s and Women’s.)

 

  • Saturday 20th April Junior/Senior Tournament – annual fun Doubles event that mixes junior and adult members over several rounds of matches. Prizes for the winners of each category. No partner required. Players of all abilities welcome. 

 

  • Saturday 11th May Fun themed Doubles Tournament

 

  • Tuesday 21st May Play Your Way To Wimbledon Tournament

  • Saturday 15th June Hawaian Shirt Tournament

 

  • Presidents & Captain’s Day – an annual tournament recognising the fantastic jobs our Club President and Captain do for all members, with “Fizz“ and strawberries, tea and cakes. A competitive, social tournament with prizes for winners/runners up. 

 

  •  Sunday 7th July Family Cup

  •  2nd-14th September Open Doubles & Over 50s Singles – the second of our annual senior club tournaments. "Wimbledon style" format Men’s, Women’s & Mixed Doubles; Men’s & Women’s Over 50 Singles. Played over 2 weeks - Finals Day 17th Sept.

 

  • Saturday 5th October Junior Tournament Finals Day – our Junior “Wimbledon style” tournament, competitive singles and doubles played over several rounds. Start date to be announced.

 

  • 2nd November Haloween Tournament

 

  •  19th December Mulled Wine Tournament - fun, social tournament celebrating the festive season. Xmas jumpers, mulled wine and mince pies
