About Us
Meet the Tennis Derbyshire team.
Tennis Derbyshire is the County Tennis Association. As a body it oversees all competition in the county, with its particularly successful adult doubles league which run throughout the year. In addition Derbyshire facilitate clubs to play in the Team Tennis Leagues and this is the umbrella we use for our junior leagues. As an organisation we are committed to inter-county competition at all age groups and run annual county championships for all ages.
We offer County Training on a weekly basis to selected junior players.
We also support clubs, players and coaches associated to our County with the Club Loan Scheme and a Coach Bursary.
Please contact the County Chair: James Grindell
The management of Derbyshire Tennis is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board in turn oversees several committees responsible for specific aspects of County Tennis as well as all remunerated roles required to support the work of the Association.
