The last of the Wednesday night Club Training sessions took place this week with the Club’s Wimbledon Ballot taking place beforehand, followed by a friendly tournament where teams could try out pairings for the coming league season in a competitive framework.

The Club received 11 pairs of tickets to Wimbledon this year, roughly split half and half between the first and second weeks, ranging from Centre, Court 1 and Court 2 tickets, including two pairs for the middle Saturday and a pair for the Mens Quarter Finals.

It was a very pleasant evening for the Tennis that followed.  30+ players turned out for a mens and ladies handicap tournament.  It was a thoroughly enjoyable event and a great warm-up to the league season which begins next week.
