Michael Oliver Cup

After having to postpone this event in the Summer, we were finally able to hold the fourth iteration of the Micahel Oliver Cup this week.  It was a lovely evening weatherwise, staying fairly mild and with no wind, conditions were ideal.

We chose the format of American Doubles for the mixed tournament, four games with your partner, four games against.  The highest scorer form the men's and womens side of the draws would win the trophy.

Although we were not able to complete the format due to time restrictions, everyone stayed on court all evening and enjoyed their tennis, in memory of one of the club's longest serving and most successful members..

The compeitition was very close on both the mens and ladies sides, with Ed Shepherd and Jude Piper coming out on top.
