Introduction

Play Tennis at any of our 5 LTA Registered Park Tennis venues located across the borough with the Play Tennis Pass 

There are 5 Parks Tennis venues in the Borough which are located in the heart of local communities to provide the perfect environment to play with friends & family or take part in coaching with our authorised coaching provider. 

Coaches, friends or family members wishing to teach/coach tennis or provide tennis advice/instruction (for free or charging a fee) will need to apply for and hold an in-date Coaching Package, not a Play Tennis Pass or Play & Play.

Our partnership with the LTA provides us with access to ClubSpark for membership, online court bookings and gate access. This allows players to secure their court time to play tennis with friends or family. You can book up to 2 hours tennis every day in one booking slot, with the Play Tennis Pass or through Pay & Play. 

Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, in collaboration with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), has initiated a partnership aimed at revitalising public tennis courts in Epsom and Ewell. This endeavour includes the implementation of gate access technology, the introduction of a new online booking platform, and enhancements to court infrastructure, all designed to ensure high quality facilities for the local community for years to come.

All proceeds generated from this initiative will be reinvested into the borough's tennis facilities, thereby securing the long-term sustainability of tennis in local parks. Epsom and Ewell Parks Tennis now boasts the latest SmartAccess gates, streamlining the process of reserving your tennis court online.

Upcoming improvements we are planning based on LTA recommendations:

• Gibraltar Recreation Ground: fence repairs, cleaning, line marking and a bid for resurfacing.
• Poole Road: fence repairs, cleaning, line marking and a bid for resurfacing.
• Alexandra Park: cleaning, line marking and surface repaint.
• Auriol: cleaning and line marking.
• Court Recreation Ground: fence repairs, cleaning, line marking (including netball and mini tennis).
