The Go Tennis Coaches at Fernhurst

Rob Norris - Head Coach

  • LTA Level 4 Coach

Rob brings a wealth of experience, having coached players of all ages and abilities – from complete beginners to advanced juniors – across clubs, schools and performance centres. He previously worked as Racquets Manager at one of the UK’s largest commercial clubs, leading a team of eight tennis coaches and overseeing a thriving tennis programme.

As a player, Rob competed nationally as a junior, was a key member of the county junior squad, and went on to represent the men’s county team – a level he still competes at today.

Rob’s coaching style is calm, supportive and confidence-building. Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or chasing performance goals, Rob’s focus is on helping every player enjoy their time on court and unlock their potential.

“My main focus as a coach is to help each player – no matter their age or ability – have a positive experience on court. I want everyone to leave with a smile, feeling inspired and improving every step of the way.”

We’re excited to have Rob on the Go Tennis team – and we know you’ll enjoy learning from him.
