The Four Oaks 'Aussie Open' was held on Sunday 2nd February, with 7 pairs contesting this fun, social tennis event.
Each pair played each other pair in short matches, before tucking in to a healthy lunch of soup and french bread.
Mark Cresswell and Suzanne Neal (19 pts), just pipped Andrea Timbrell and Chris Bentley (18pts) to the 'title', with Vicky Cresswell and Chris Chappell (15 pts) in third place. Well done to all for making it a really enjoyable event.
These social tennis events are open to all adult playing members, as well as Advanced Juniors. Our next event is the 'Spring Open' on Sunday 1st March. Enter on the sheet up in the clubhouse on the 'Social' board, or email membership.fotc@gmail.com to be included. The more the merrier!
