Members enjoyed a great afternoon's tennis on Sunday 29th August with another 'Grand Slam' Social Tournament, the 'US Open', being held.
Congratulations to Ian Fitzgerald and Kate Bell who were the eventual winners, prevailing against fellow finalists, Roy Meddings and Eric Giordanengo.
Along with a large group of spectators and supporters, as well as the competitors of the O-60s match (v Purley, Surrey), tournament participants enjoyed a delicious BBQ and other refreshments.
Many thanks to all involved in organising the event, in particular Matt Ollerenshaw, Kathy Jukes and Claudia Wenk, as well as to Rob Gremson for kindly providing the trophies.
