The new season is almost upon us and new annual memberships are open from 1st March 2024!

In the last 12 months several improvements have taken place at our wonderful club.  The courts have been repainted, sealed and cleaned so that we can postpone the time when they need resurfacing.  We now have flood lights on both courts and a new covered social area to replace the old one. We are ready for the spring/summer competition season, holiday camps, family visits and much more. 

This year, the Trustees have decided that there should be a modest increase of membership fees, in order to ensure that we can continue to cover our operating costs. (For context our tennis club is a charitable,  not for profit,  organisation run by the community for the community.  It has no paid employees.  Membership fees are virtually its only income.  Subscription levels are set to cover our rental to the football club, general maintenance costs and to provide a sinking fund for large, infrequent expenditures such as resurfacing the courts.)

The new annual fees will therefore be as follows

Prices for annual membership:

• Adult  £126
• Family  £195
• Senior (over 65)  £115
• Senior Limited  £82.50
• Young Adult (19-24)  £50.50
• Junior Upper Tier (14-18)  £31.50
• There is no fee for Junior membership under the age of 14
• Pay-and-play fee £7/hr
• Guest fee £3/pp/hr

We will also offer reduced Autumn /Winter packages as before for those joining after 1st September 2024.

In order to (re)join, please log into Freshford Tennis Club website (www.freshfordtennis.co.uk ).  Open the "Membership" tab. You then need to open the package that suits you.  This will take you to log in and payment. Please remember that although payment is through direct debit your membership will not be renewed automatically.  Each year will require you to renew in this way through GoCardless.
