Freshford Tennis Club is in great shape for the season ahead, and it's been very nice to have some favourable comments on how spruced-up things are looking – our courts were repainted last season, and the fence has been mended and the tree-line trimmed, all ready for Spring!  Club nights are resuming on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons, and our four teams (Mens, Womens and two Mixed) will take up cudgels again in the Chippenham and District League. Our new coach Ron Marshall is available for lessons and will also be organising four tournaments over the course of the year, that anyone can join in with.  Further details will be on our new website, which is now hosted by LTA Clubspark, making it very simple to join the club, book courts on-line and renew your membership. Our subs are low, we offer family membership, and we welcome players of all abilities. You can have a few or many lessons if you're rusty or always wanted to be able to hit a backhand like Federer. We welcome everyone at club night for a relaxed social game, and if you are interested in playing competitively, then the teams are always recruiting. We also would love to have more juniors getting involved, so your kids will be very welcome to come and learn. The tennis courts are a great facility in a beautiful location right on your doorstep, so make 2017 the year you come and play!
