FAQs
Why are you introducing a charge for courts at peak times?
We’ve made a significant investment in our courts to provide you with the best possible playing experience. As a result, we’re introducing a charge for play at peak times to help us maintain the quality of our facilities. We’re pleased to inform you off-peak play will remain free of charge, allowing you to benefit from more affordable tennis sessions.
I only want to play once or twice, what can I do?
We offer casual Pay as you Play tennis which will be FREE Monday- Friday 9am-4pm, all other times will be chargeable at £10 (Adult) or £5 (Junior) per court per hour.
Simply register, book and pay for your court.
When are the courts open?
The parks will be open in line with our booking system in conjunction with the Glasgow Life opening/closing times, please refer to the website for further details.
Do I have to be a resident of Glasgow to play?
No, everyone is welcome.
Am I entitled to a concessionary rate if I am in receipt of benefits?
There are no concessionary rates for court bookings, however you can take advantage of the following:
Park Tennis Family Pass- This will allow up to 2 adults and 3 children, from the same family to unlimited access to Glasgow Sport Park tennis courts. To qualify your household income is supported by any of the benefits detailed at https://glasgowclub.org/Pages/Concessions.aspx
Junior Tennis Pass- This allows under 18s to a 50 % reduction on fees and charges (Pay as you go only) £5 for a court per hour, across all Glasgow Sport Park tennis courts

How many sessions can I book per day?
Annual Pass Members and Pay and Play players can make a total of 7 bookings, subject to a maximum of fourteen hours in total per week. Please note: If you cancel or modify a booking this will still go towards your total booking allocation for that week.
Once I have booked my court, how do I get access?
Once you have booked your court, you will receive a booking confirmation email.
Your booking confirmation will include a four-digit gate code which you can then enter on the keypad at the gate. It is always useful to have your booking confirmation handy for inspection purposes.
I haven’t received confirmation of my booking or my gate access code. What should I do?
The gate access code is provided within your confirmation email. Please check the junk folder of the email account provided when you signed up.
Alternatively, please log into your ClubSpark account and check your bookings where you will see the details of your booking, alongside the gate access code.
If you still cannot find your confirmation email or gate access code, email tennis@glasgowlife.org.uk in advance of your booking.
What do I do if my gate code doesn't work?
Double-check that you are trying to use the correct gate code for the court and booking. If you are, please check your booking confirmation for further advice.
If you have followed all these steps and are still unable to open the gate please call 07387541435 for further advice.
Can I make a booking for coaching purposes?
Only coaches appointed by Glasgow Life are authorised to deliver coaching activities on the courts. If you are interest in receiving coaching services, please visit our coaching page.
Annual Passes and the pay and play rates are not permitted for this purpose.
Can I hire equipment?
Unfortunately, we do not offer that facility for personal bookings.
