Safeguarding & Welfare

Glasgow Life is committed to safeguarding the children, young people and adults at risk at our Glasgow Life venues; they are entitled to play tennis free from harm in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment.  Whether you are a player, coach, parent, staff member or volunteer, safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone.

Glasgow Life’s Safeguarding Policy sets out our commitment to safeguarding and the key principles that we follow.

We work closely with Tennis Scotland and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to comply with the British Tennis safeguarding guidelines and policies including the Safeguarding at events, activities and competitions policy which was adopted in November 2022.

Our Coaching Team are all highly qualified, experienced and LTA Accredited. They have all undergone safeguarding training, first aid training and PVG checks.
