Safeguarding
Goring Tennis Club is committed to providing a safe and inclusive tennis environment at our club.
We strive to ensure that all children, young people and adults at risk are safeguarded from abuse and have an enjoyable tennis experience. Everyone who is involved in tennis has a shared responsibility to support this by promoting the welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk.
Whether you/your child are engaging in coaching, matches or other organised events, we will strive to keep children, young people and adults at risk safe and free from harm. Mandy Jacklin is the Welfare Officer for Goring Tennis Club and James Miller is the Deputy Welfare Officer.
All GTC committee members have undertaken the LTA’s Safeguarding Training for Committees.
Mandy, James and any member of the Committee are available to discuss any concerns or worries you may have. Members who wish to raise a matter of concern may do so knowing that we will deal with it confidentially and sensitively. Mandy can be contacted on 07854 222103 and James can be contacted on 0770 2161744.
More information on safeguarding can be found on the LTA website: https://www.lta.org.uk/about-the-lta/policies-and-rules/safeguarding-protection/
