Gorleston Tennis Club (GLTC)

Gorleston Tennis Club (GLTC) is one of the longest running tennis clubs in Norfolk and welcomes new players of all ages and playing standards. The club is non-profit making, run by an elected committee of volunteer members, with any surplus income or gains reinvested back into the club to maintain and improve the facility. The club is unstaffed and members are free to come and go as they please, with access available via a combination lock. 

We have five all-weather, floodlit courts and a practice wall, which offer members plenty of opportunity to play. Members also benefit from private car parking plus a clubhouse with toilet facilities and a kitchen. 

All members have access to affiliated and licenced coaches, offering private lessons for those who want individual coaching or group sessions for both adults and children of all levels.

You will love the great facilities, quiet surroundings and friendly atmosphere.

Playing times are from 7am to 11 pm every day of the year, and the club caters for a wide range of tennis activities.

Free visitor ‘taster’ sessions (club introduction)

If you are unfamiliar with the tennis club and want to learn more about it, we offer free visits by appointment to meet onsite with a member of the club’s committee, without any obligations. These visits are an opportunity to see the facilities and find out how the club functions, while having any potential questions answered. Visitors are very welcome to try out the courts and play some tennis.
