Head of Junior Coaching
Dale Simmons - LTA Accredited Level 3 Coach and PTR Qualfied. Dale leads junior group coaching and inspires juniors every week, all year round, rain or shine! Originaly as one of the top juniors at the Club, he worked his way up to performance player level and then decided he wanted to pass his knowledge onto younger players. He's always fun on court and teaches with great integrity and knowledge of the game.

Head Coach
Matt Trevail - LTA Accredited+ Level 4 Coach (CRB and first aid certified), with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Exeter University. With over 20 years coaching experience Matt is currently Director of Tennis at Woking Lawn Tennis Club, a Surrey Team Manager and Chair of Coaches at Surrey LTA. He has developed numerous juniors from beginners to top national level players, including managing the 12U Surrey boys team to win the Nationals in 2015 and 2016 and 9U Team to win in 2021 and 2023. He manages a team of experienced, as well as exciting up-and-coming Coaches at both Shalford and Woking tennis Clubs.
