Junior Club Championships: had to be cancelled in July but have now been rescheduled for Saturday 23rd September. Dependent on the number of entries we may play some matches on the Friday afternoon/early evening. We are intending to have mini box leagues so all players get to play several matches. The entry email will be sent to all mini and junior members shortly.

Working Party For Court Surround: this essential maintenance is scheduled at least twice a year to tend to the areas immediately adjacent to the courts. We are always keen for volunteers to help so if you would like to add your name to the list please contact our Chair Bev Wilson on 07885 276104 who will keep you posted with dates and plans.

New Committee Members: We are actively seeking members to join the HTC committee to help shape and plan the club for the future. We cannot do this without input and expertise from our membership and would very much welcome some new faces to join the team. Please reply to this email if you are curious to know more or call Chair, Bev Wilson on 07885 276104.

Function Room make-over: We are very pleased that Tim Finch and his Decorare team have now completed not only a makeover of The Whistler but also the function room which the club uses frequently for rainy coaching sessions, match suppers/teas and Blaise’s office amongst other things. A great improvement and much appreciated.

New Coaching Welfare Assistant: The HTC Afternoon Coaching sessions for HCJS children every weekday (except Thursdays) have a Coaching Welfare Assistant to work alongside Blaise. Paula Daly who took over from Jan Morris in the Autumn of 2021, both doing a super job, stepped down in June and we are delighted to welcome Penny Forbes-Russell to the role. She started during the last four weeks of the summer term and many of you will have already met her, but if not, please do say hello and introduce yourself when your children attend the junior sessions.
