Our Coaches

JUSTIN TADMAN - HEAD COACH

I’m Justin Tadman and I'm qualified as a LTA Level 2 coach.

I am based in Hartley Wintney where I have lived for over 30 years with my wife Sue and our three children.

Tennis has always been an important part of my life, from being in the under 16 Hertfordshire County Squad, to teaching my own kids to play, and now to offering coaching to both children and adults in the local area.

The main focus of my activities is at Hartley Wintney Tennis Club (located at Greenfields School), where the new floodlights have provided the first opportunity to play regularly during the winter.  I also coach occasionally at Avondale LTC and on private courts.

My other interests include walking (ideally around mountains and water), DIY and travel.

The majority of my previous career has been running live events - mostly in the B2B space with large-scale exhibitions and conferences all across the world.

ANDREW ROXBURGH - COACH

Hi my name is Andy Roxburgh and I am qualified as an LTA Level 2 Coach.

I have been based in Hook for the last 2 years but I grew up for 15 years in Jersey before moving to England for University which I graduated in 2021 studying Sports Management.

I have played tennis for as long as I can remember and have represented Jersey at the Junior Island Games (Jeux Des Iles) 2016. I have also represented the Channel Islands regularly in the county squad for the past 10 years.

I am also an avid footballer and play for Hook FC on Saturdays in the Hampshire Premier Football League. My other interests include Ancient Greek mythology and Formula 1.

I coach tennis primarily at Hartley Wintney Tennis Club and am looking for more people to coach who are looking to improve their game. I also coach at Sherfield School where I work with primary school children at developing beginner skills and feeding them into the Sherfield development and performance squads.
