Hawkshaw Tennis Club

Nestling in the heart of rural Bury, Hawkshaw Tennis Club offers an idyllic, safe and welcoming environment for members of all ages and abilities.

We are an established LTA-affiliated tennis club with approximately 125 members. The  Club boasts five superb all-weather courts, three with floodlights, a modern Clubhouse with facilities for changing, meetings and refreshments, a large car park and a host of opportunities for players of all ages and standards to get involved in tennis through tennis camps, social tennis, club tournaments, team tennis or coaching sessions. All this is offered for low-price membership fees.

We compete in the Bolton Summer League (mens teams x4, mixed teams x4, ladies teams x2 and junior teams x1), the Bolton Winter League (5 mixed teams), and several county events.

We offer weekly mixed ability coaching sessions from beginners to team players - individual coaching is also offered by LTA qualified coaches. In addition, we hold social events including club tournaments, quiz nights, fun days, Xmas party, bowling tournaments etc and informal ad hoc visits to the pub at the end of sessions!!

Hawkshaw has a very special atmosphere – proud to be small and friendly and run entirely by volunteers. Please come along to any of our sessions – you will receive a warm welcome!
