HHTC Winter Tournament 2023/2024
Please click on the spreadsheet below for the winter tournament draw and to enter match results. Use the tabs at the bottom to view each competition - the spreadsheet will automatically be saved.
Each match should consist of 2 sets and if the result is even after 2 sets, the match will be decided by a Championship Tiebreak (first to 10 or more by 2 clear points) .
All matches should be played by 31st March 2024.
HHTC Summer Tournament 2023
As usual we are running our Club Summer Tournament that is open to all club members.
For the benefit of all new members, this takes the form of a knock-out tournament, run throughout the summer, that culminates in a ‘Finals Day’ in early August. This is a fun day of tennis that allows finalists to demonstrate their tennis prowess in front of an audience and will be followed by a Club Social Event in the evening. The date set for Finals Day is Saturday 12th August. For this year's results, please click on this link to the 'news' page.
It comprises Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Ladies' Singles, Ladies' Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Mixed Doubles Handicap competitions.
Please click the link below to view the draw in a spreadsheet and record results as matches are played - Use the tabs at the bottom to view each competition. Once you have entered your score in the spreadsheet, simply close it - There is no need to formally save it.
All matches are the best of 3 sets. If a set reaches a score of 6-6, both the first or second set will be decided by a conventional tie-break; the final set will continue until one of the players/teams leads by 2 clear games.
Please ensure that all matches are played before Saturday 12th August 2023, so that all Finals can be played on the day. Steve Mills will be monitoring the situation and sending chasers and may award discretionary walkovers if matches are being delayed. We need to avoid the situation whereby matches are being played at the last minute.

HHTC Summer Tournament 2022
The Club's Summer Tournament concluded with a very enjoyable Finals' Day on Saturday 13th August. It comprised Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Ladies' Singles, Ladies' Doubles and Mixed Doubles competitions. Please click the link below to view the winners and the overall tournament draw. All matches were the best of 3 sets.
NB: The Mixed Doubles Handicap Competition was an additional fun competition intended to give players of all abilities the chance to compete more equally against stronger players.
Finals' Day finished with a barbecue at Frank & Mona’s field in Bolney. Many thanks again to both Frank & Mona for making this available.
Inter-Club Matches
We enter summer and winter teams in the Weald League. This year we will be entering mens, ladies, mixed and mens over 55 teams. Select the Results tab above to access a sub-page giving further access to our Weald League fixtures and results.
Club Tournaments
Summer and Winter Club knockouts are organised within the Club and are open to all. These include:
- Men's Singles & Doubles
- Ladies' Singles & Doubles
- Mixed Doubles and Mixed Doubles Handicap.

American Tournaments
Every Bank Holiday Monday, we have a fun/social "American Tournament" which is followed by tea and cake.
