Welcome to Herne Bay Tennis Club a thriving friendly club offering tennis for all ages and abilities including beginners and children. Our club was established in 1891 with the first recorded inter-club match being played on the 27th June 1898!
We are now located at "Herne Bay Sports Hub" where we can enjoy 6 all weather, floodlit courts with a MatchPlay 2 surface and our own state of the art clubhouse. The Sports Hub shares a Pavilion with showers and changing facilities, a bar and viewing terraces upstairs. Members will be entitled to a discount on drinks and bookings of the Pavilion.
We are a competitive club running over twenty teams in three leagues throughout Kent, in both the summer and winter seasons, in addition to our regular Club Play social sessions and club tournament.
We welcome both adult and junior new members and have a program of coaching to offer something for every ability and age!
