Code of Conduct
Parent and Juniors Code of Conduct
To ensure a fun, safe, and respectful environment for all junior players, we ask all parents and guardians to follow this Code of Conduct:
1. Support, Don’t Coach
- Encourage your child and others with positive reinforcement.
- Leave the coaching to the professionals—avoid giving instructions from the sidelines.
2. Respect All Participants
- Show respect to all players, coaches, officials, and other parents.
- Applaud good play from both sides—sportsmanship matters more than winning.
3. Let the Kids Play
- Allow children to enjoy the game and learn at their own pace.
- Avoid placing pressure on your child to win or perform.
4. Be a Role Model
- Always demonstrate good behavior—no shouting, arguing, or negative comments.
- Treat everyone with kindness and fairness, regardless of the outcome.
5. Respect Officials and Coaches
- Trust the judgment of referees and coaches, even if you disagree.
- Raise concerns calmly and privately with staff after the session, not during play.
6. Stay in Designated Areas
- Remain in spectator areas and avoid entering the court unless invited.
- Keep noise and distractions to a minimum during matches and drills.
7. Celebrate Effort Over Outcome
- Praise effort, improvement, and teamwork—not just results.
- Help your child understand that mistakes are part of learning.
8. Be Punctual and Prepared
- Arrive on time and ensure your child is properly equipped and ready to play.
- Notify coaches in advance if your child cannot attend.
