Coaching Team

The 2020 coaching team will be lead by Jana Brady and cluster coach Andrew Watt.

Jana Brady: I am thrilled to have been appointed the Highlands District Coach. Very excited to get going with the programme myself and my assistant Andrew Watt will be delivering across the area. I have 7 years of coaching experience with all ages and abilities ranging from club level up to regional level. Currently Head Coach at two very established clubs in the Highlands, Forres and Inverness. Competed a lot as a junior and ready to bring quality coaching to the up and coming juniors in the Highland District.  Jana is a a UKCC L4 accredited qualified coach.

Andrew Watt: I started playing tennis the day Judy Murray came to inverness to promote Tennis for Free. Since then I have competed in several tournaments around Scotland, including La Manga over in Spain. I enjoyed tennis so much that I felt coaching was something I just had to do. Since the beginning of my coaching I have taken on many challenges one of my most recent ones being my UKCC Level 3 which I am delighted to have obtained. I am looking forward to going further in my coaching education in trying to receive my Level 4 Performance. For the last 2 years I have worked full time at Bellfield Park alongside Mike Martin who has mentored, coached and helped me grow as a coach on and off the court. I also spent a year with Tennis Scotland as a tennis apprentice which has benefited me in many ways and helped me get to where I am now. I am really looking forward to taking on the role as a District Coach and look forward to working with Highland Tennis.
