Hooton tennis club

Our court surfaces at Hooton have been renewed - why not come down and join us during club night between 6 and 8pm on  any Monday or  Wednesday evening. For just £25, you can try a One Month Membership.

The gate will be open, so please walk in and someone will give you all the info you need about the club.

We are the only tennis club now in Ellesmere Port and despite being called Hooton Tennis Club, we are actually located on Berwick Road in the village of Little Sutton.

Completed in May 2022 we have four brand new artificial grass courts, (TigerTurf), two of which are floodlit, which will not only provide an excellent playing surface all year round, but will also offer minimal impact on joints and muscles.

We run social tennis sessions every week, have a range of coaching programmes (some free of charge!), have teams playing at different levels in local leagues and hold regular social events. We're a small club that welcomes new members - you will find us friendly and not overwhelming.

So if you're looking for a new club, haven't played for a while and would like to play again or are new to tennis, we're the club for you! 

The club has been active in the area for over 100 years having been established in 1912. We are close to Little Sutton railway station and are just off the A41 where local bus services run. There's also parking along Berwick Road so we're easy to get to and find . Our clubhouse was redeveloped in 1999 and offers a fully licensed bar area, changing rooms and kitchen facilities with an outdoor seating area so you can relax after that game of tennis!
