20th Anniversary Event Sunday 28th September
Rain early in the day failed to dampen our spirits as we hosted a day of free activities including tennis, pickleball contests, food, drink, fun and more. We had off court games for kids and grown ups to enjoy and roll up and play pickleball and tennis on free courts. Nancy Riach, who played a crucial role in the fundraising to secure this fabulous facility was there to receive thanks from Kat, our Chairperson and be presented with flowers. We rounded off the day in beautiful sunshine with an everyone on court team game, Candemonium which was chaotic and hilarious! Thanks to everyone that came to join us and make the day so much fun.
50+ Vs 18+ Pickleball Competition Sunday 7th September
8 teams of young guns took on 8 teams of the more mature among us. Both groups battled it out fuelled with Haribos and Werthers Originals, to prove that their generation is top dog!. In a hotly contested 21 point final, Alfie and Alex took top spot, with Tony and Alessandro the gallant runners up. There was a fabulous support from the spectators, enjoying the sunshine, atmosphere, and some great games.
Huge thanks go to Dan, Janae and Kate for their amazing organising of the event.

Club 'Ouse Cruise' - Saturday 21st June π£
It was a beautiful sunny evening as we zig zagged our way down the Ouse, to our picnic and BBQ spot, where Fred, Hal, Ava and Joshua made an excellenct job of gathering wood so we could toast marshmallows. After a delicious spread of generously shared food and several drinks we zig zagged our way back with the sun setting over the meadows. From 3 .... to 3 score and ten, everyone had a fabulous time, just need to work on the rowing π

Music and Mayhem Quiz
In late February members threw themselves into a chaotic evening of team challenges, questions and mouthwash karaoke! With snacks at halftime to recharge, competitive tails were up (sorry about your knees Jasmine), but Kat's team What a Racket stole a narrow victory and came away with a basket of goodies.
New Balls π³
In January a group of us had great fun ten pin bowling. Lots of oohs and noooos! Well we can't be good at everything. We rounded off a lovely friendly evening with a delicious meal at Vardi Kitchen St Ives
Top Spin Tennis Demo Tour πΎ
Our friends at Cambridge Top Spin Tennis came to our club session with a range of rackets for players to check out.
Regular player Tim said 'I really liked trying the array of rackets. Plenty of choice. As expected the chap was very knowledgeable and approachable'.
You too can tap in to their expert advice by visiting them in Cambridge or checking out their website. We'd like to thank them for coming to see us.
