Whether you're new to Tennis or not or, if you'd like to find out more about Walking Tennis and Pickleball; join us for a fun day, with family and friends at HLTC. We have a variety of sessions available and our coaches will be on hand to give you useful hints and tips. Space is limited so book early to avoid disappointment!

Junior (Mini Orange/Green) Coaching

Come and join a coach led taster session on our Mini Orange/Green mini tennis courts, Junior mini Orange/Green tennis is a modified version of the game designed for younger players. Using low compression balls and shorter rackets on smaller courts. A great way to have fun and intro into tennis.

Introduction to Pickleball

Fast becoming one of the most popular racket sports in the world, pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Players can play both singles and doubles, using paddles and a plastic ball. Pickleball is a sport for all ages, backgrounds and abilities. It’s easy to pick up for beginners and is a great way to exercise, keep active with friends and meet new people. Best of all, it’s a low-impact sport, that’s easy on the joints and it can help you build your fitness while playing a fun and challenging game.

Walking Tennis

Love tennis but looking for a gentler pace of play? Walking Tennis is safe, fun and inclusive and a fantastic way to stay active! Tennis can be played at any age and Walking Tennis offers an easy way for people to keep their body and mind active – while also enjoying the social side of being part of a tennis community. It's also a great way to get back into tennis if you're recovering from an injury or haven't played for a while.
