Members of HLTC have chosen 'Hythe TC Dementia Awareness' as their nominated charity for our 25/26 club year.

Fundraisers planned for 25/26: Annual Ladies' & Men's Day, November Charity Supper Night, HLTC Charity Quiz Night.

CLUB CHAIR's CHALLENGE, 01 MAY 25 – 31 MARCH 26

Peter will donate £1 to our fundraiser for every different member of HLTC he plays a set with at Mix-Ins and Club Tournaments, during the course of this club year

Understanding Dementia

Hythe TC Dementia Awareness established on 20th August 2015 when the Hythe Town Council agreed that our town would support those in our community living with dementia, and their carers. Our aim was, and still is, to provide much needed support and encourage local businesses and the people of Hythe to become Dementia Aware. 

Dementia is a broad umbrella term used to describe a range of progressive neurological disorders. There are many different types of dementia and some people may present with a combination of types. Regardless of which type is diagnosed, each person will experience their dementia in their own unique way.
