Ightham Tennis Club

Ightham Tennis Club is a wonderful way to meet others who share a love of tennis.  

The clubhouse and two courts are located in the corner of the village recreation ground, the courts are floodlit and have a new all-weather Tiger Turf surface installed in April 2022. We have a ball machine available for members to hire.  There is plenty of free parking in the recreation ground.  

With a heathy membership of over 300 members of all age ranges our club actively encourages tennis at all levels. Our LTA registered Club Coach runs weekly coaching sessions for juniors and adults of all levels.

The Club organises a number of tournaments, ladder competitions and social events throughout the year.  Members also have the opportunity to meet each other through a number of regular weekly club sessions.  The club is registered with LTA and enter teams in both the LTA run summer and winter leagues.

We keep our membership fees low by asking club members to help maintain our facilities by joining ‘working party days’ and through social fundraising activities.

A newsletter is emailed periodically with details of current events, the website is a useful source of information, and we provide updates from time to time through the widely distributed Parish Magazine and on our Facebook page.

If you are interested in becoming a member please do not hesitate to get in touch directly with the Membership Secretary or with one of the committee members and they will be happy to make all necessary introductions.

Non-members are able to use the courts by paying £10 for an hour at The Hutch Deli. However, members who have booked courts have priority and non-members may have to give up their court if a member has booked it.
